Alitalia is launching clothing range
Alitalia sources confirmed that the troubled airline is launching a new clothing range. Italy's national airline is in talks with high-street retailers and leading fashion houses about introducing its own clothing and footware range.
The new range is called 'Lost Fashion' and will include clothing and footware for men, women and children.
Unidentified sources claimed that the 'Lost, found and never to be returned' Alitalia luggage department is to supply the clothing range at low affordable prices.
And if you think that this is news, think again. Alitalia has been 'losing' people's luggage for years and recent financial trouble meant that the airline would be seeking new revenue streams.
You never know, you might even get to buy back the stuff you once owned so stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.

I hope a class action suit can be filed. US Courts just allowed a class action suit to proceed against British Airways due to their rampant baggage problems. We need to use the leverage of class action to get the airlines to vastly improve the lost luggage tracking/reporting process and to improve the compensation levels when luggage is truly lost.
