The bad dog dies hard

More bad news about the mess called 'Alitalia'. Not only they are completely doomed, but they are also not able to control their workforce with added losses. A true mess.

I have a feeling that they will be soon grounded but let us watch the next 3-6 months.

Bye-Bye Alitalia...

AirFrancce-KLM has taken the green light from the Italian government to place a bid for failing Alitalia and is now trying to approach the Italian carrier's unions.

AirFrance-KLM has already promised cash injections into the loss-making airline, but the real issue, for both the carrier's unions and Alitalia's Chairman, seems to be the Franco-Dutch airline's intention to get rid of the loss-making 'AZ Servizi' unit of Alitalia - but obviously for different reasons.

Promises from the Franco-Dutch airline went as a combined AirFrance-KLM-Alitalia group to be listed on the Milan stock exchange.

But just to remind us that there is no black and white in business, Mr Spinetta has also confirmed that if the merge of the two airlines completes successfully, there will be a need to eliminate approximately 1,700 jobs.

PS: That was the good news from me, guys! ;)
