Charity work petition to Alitalia

Since Alitalia is refusing to give back passengers luggage when it goes missing on it's flights, we thought of another solution. Alitalia should try coming clean by donating the proceeds of this ongoing theft, or the actual clothes to developing countries. So at least our loss, will be someone's else's gain. At least someone that has a true need instead of the corporate liars that hide behind their desks.

So we urge Alitalia's corporate heads, Roberto Colaninno and Rocco Sabelli to come out with the truth, admit the wrongdoing, apologise explicitly and donate our clothes to people in need.

Customer comments on Alitalia

Just received a really nasty comment blaiming me to badmouth Italians. This blog is not about Italy or Italians, it is about an Italian airline. By no means am I trying to associate the company with all things Italian. Because it would be wrong and unfair. What is fair to say though is that Italy is not proud of Alitalia and if you have a look at the comments our readers make, even Italians admit to the problem.

Please keep posting your comments as it makes me as well as everyone else feel like we are not the only ones being wronged by this airline. Nobody likes liars and cheats and Alitalia is a corporate disgrace, until proven otherwise. I have personally spent a lot more money flying home, avoiding Alitalia's cheap prices. So the effort needs to be individual to have a collective impact.

So please don't fly Alitalia.
