Alitalia customer services

Now I know that this is an oxymoron and reading this bloggers tale confirms my worst fears. Alitalia does not do customer services.

So true. I've sent my complaint to Alitalia on May, 8th 2006. As of today, Sept. 12th 2006 I still have not heard from them. I cannot get a hold of the person who handles the case (I was lucky to get her name during one of my calls), of her supervisor, and in most cases -- no one at Customer Disservice. I've left at least 2-3 dozen messages, no one EVER called me back.

I have the same issue with Alitalia's customer service. I wrote to them about how they charged my family for supposed luggage overages when the luggage was well within the weight limit. My travel agent has tried to contact them as well and no one at Alitalia has the common courtesy to return a call or a letter.
